this game has the best fighting game guide ever created by a long shot. Utilize an open-ended combo system to rack up huge combos as your opponent looks for openings to break you and turn the tides of battle. Waiting to hear back on a new job, if I get it then I hope you guys are still around to utterly kick my butt! In Killer Instinct on Xbox One you can choose from amongst a wild cast of combatants each with fluid animations, unique combat tactics, and flashy special attacks. I'd love to show you the ropes, but I'm unfortunately super busy at my current job. Stream chats on Killer Instinct streamers (I've found XiBassiX's chat to be super helpful) and this subreddit are both good resources to find people to play with. Some of the old best players are there and it makes me happy to see more KI.
That being said, I feel like the game ended on a strong balance between nearly all the characters and there's Killer Instinct going on at Kumite in Tennessee this weekend on Twitch! Unfortunately it was never quite the seller that Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat were, and they couldn't keep the money coming in for more patches. It's def a passion project that continued to get supported a few years after release, with the devs squeezing whatever budget they could out of Microsoft and raising money from fans to get some of the characters made (also why some of them are "clone" characters, only thing they had the budget for at the time).
